| First day of the race, perfect wind condition, with no gusts and into the high teens, a lot of power for those who rig 11's or 12's. The water condition was beautiful as always. It was warm enough to be pleasant but cool enough to keep your body temperature down. There was almost no boat traffic, it seemed like the Bay was set aside just for the windsurfers to race. The chop conditions were very light, it was so good that the races seemed to be finished before they began. All in all, the most perfect day of windsurfing one could ask for at this time of year.
