FE Worlds Cancun Day Three
Posted On:  31/12/2011 06:21:05

It was only possible to complete one race, late in the day, on day 3 of the FE Worlds in Cancun.

It is all change at the top of the overall ranking, as youth Mauricio Martinez (MEX 95 ) takes the lead after winning race 5. Moving up into second place is Nicholas Schreier (PER 2) with a 3rd in today's race. Consistency is the name of the name if you want to become, and remain, a world champion! The overnight leader, Luis Souza (BRA 100) drops to 3rd overall after a race he will hope to forget.

Moving up to 4th overall, and first female, is Demita Vega (MEX 5) - who is improving her position with every race and finished 2nd in the only race of the day.

In fifth place overall is the leading junior (under 17) rider, Ignacio Berenguer (MEX 11).
The sailors in the top 5 positions prove that this class is one for both genders and all age groups - junior to grandmaster!
