Miami Wind and Surfers Challenge 2010
Posted On:  10/04/2010 22:15:47
Perfect wind conditions, beautiful water as always.  It was warm enough to be pleasant but cool enough to keep your body temperature down.  There was almost no boat traffic, it seemed like the Bay was set aside just for the windsurfers to race.  The chop conditions were very light, it was so good that the races seemed to be finished before they began.  All in all, the most perfect windsurfing one could ask for at this time of year.

10 races overall for the championship. The formula Experience Class was dominated by Bebeko from Brazil  but the last race was won by Alession (11 years old ) who also finished 6th in the formula fleet.

The event was held at the beautiful facilities of the US Sailing Center, special thanks to Patrick Downey who always supports the windsurfing events and community.  Special thanks to Simona Madan for keeping the event running with great energy.  Thank you all the participants for supporting the event,  and see you all next time!!
